Iverheal 3 works by interfering with the nervous systems of parasites and preventing them from functioning properly. It binds to a specific protein called glutamate-gated chloride channels which are found on the surface of nerve cells in parasites, preventing them from passing messages throughout their bodies. This disruption of the nervous system eventually leads to paralysis and death of the parasite.
